In this “plein air” style painting class, students will immerse themselves in the vibrant world of outdoor painting, capturing the landscapes of Pocatello! Participants will explore various techniques for translating the play of light, color, and atmosphere onto canvas. Through live demos, constructive critiques, and individualized guidance, students will develop their observational skills and artistic sensibilities while embracing the spontaneity and challenges of painting outdoors. This course will primarily focus on using oil paint. All materials will be provided!
Note: Class days may be subject to change depending on the weather.
Students must be 18+ or 16+ with parent/guardian
enrollment.
